Common Council is the governing body of the City of Saint John, made up of the Mayor, two Councillors at Large, and eight Ward Councillors (two per ward). Council meets regularly at City Hall to make decisions on municipal policy, budgets, by-laws, and city services.

Meetings are open to the public — you can attend in person at the Common Council Chamber (2nd floor, City Hall) or watch live on the City’s YouTube channel.
